Support The Frostybottom Cafe
Mr. Doug Sandahl owner of the Greer Lodge Resorts (the largest commercial property owner in Greer) wrote a threatening letter to Miltion Olerton of Apache County that made inflammatory statements and quoted language that had no basis as if it was in the County Ordinance that governs Greer. Mr. Sandahl is wrong and Mr. Olerton is trying to enforce some implied interpretation onto The Frostybottom.
The Frostybottom is in compliance with County Health Code Ordinance (ie: has a permit) AND is NOT IN VIOLATION of any other County Ordinance. It IS making the new application as requested by the county, but under protest. This interpretation of the ordinance effectively turns Greer into a ‘no vending’ zone, serving the sole purpose of protecting favored businesses from competition
The Frostybottom's owner Kristi Spillman (who is a full time resident in Greer) wants to stay in Greer with her friends and family, and to make a living. The cafe needs to be allowed to stay in Greer to support the visitors brought to town by the larger organizations who are not prepared to support them with affordable pricing and freedom of choice.
Sign the petition to ask Apache County to APPROVE The Frostybottom's "special permit" ASAP, and Tell Doug Sandahl to take responsibility for his own problems and learn to compete the old fashioned way. . . Price, Quality, Service . . but NOT BY "Bullying the competition".
