It was announced this year that Frostbite (movie), the sequel to Vampire Academy (movie), wouldn't be being made after a failed appeal to raise the monies required and to recognize the fan base for the movie after a number of very negative reviews.
The movie is based on the books under the same name, also nicknamed 'The VA Series'. It a massively popular book series selling over 8 million copies in 35 countries written by Richelle Mead. It is the story of forbidden love, action and adventure following the narrator Rose Hathaway, a dhampir teenager and novice guardian.
Though the movie was heavily criticized, a number of the fan express there love for the movie and wish for the writers, producers, actors and all other required people to make the sequel.
Producer Deepak Nayar was reported by MTV news after the announcement of the fundraiser to explain how important the fans were to him and the movie...
“Our financiers were willing to move forward ONLY if we could show them the fans would support us,” Nayar said. “It’s not an exaggeration to say that we would not be here without them.”
The aim for this petition is to reach 1.5 million signatures, the same figure the producers were attempting to raise from the fundraiser.
If this petition reaches enough signatures, my intention is to show it to the producers and director in a attempt to convince them of the viability of Frostbite.

I want to see more of the this series in movies, espesially Frostbite <3Adrian<3 and.... Mason.... ;A; mmmmhmmm anyway, I would like to see less comedy in this one. I found Vampire Academy the movie to be more about the comedy of the book rather than the romance and the intensity. (: Favorite series and author of all time!<3
pleaaaase do Frostbite !! The fundraiser was not a good idea, the majority of the VA's fans are teenagers so we couldn't donate money on the internet !
please make VA Frostbite, The story gets extremely insane and awesome, as the story progresses! Just like Twilight, I guarantee the movie will gain momentum immediately especially since so much happens in Frostbite, U get to c so much more magically and get to meet important characters, please give it a chance it will pay off!
I love these books and I really want to see the story continue to unfold on the big screen. Frostbite is where the story begins to mature and we see more action.
This was the best movie to book conversion out there I have seen! The only problem with movie one was the marketing it as a "mean girls" type movie... If it has a different marketing market it would explode in the box offices!
We want Frostbite with the same Actors
you can't not finish this series!! Weinstein Company & Reliance Entertainment have plenty of money & this series is so much better than Twilight! just advertise it better

I still think they should make frostbite even if it not on the big screen make it into a DVD at least then the fans can see it i love the VA movies please make it
