Keep everything where it has been for 80+ years. And don’t try to sneak around like a damn thief!

This property is Mary Breckinridge's gift to all of Leslie County. Many generations have adored her and the work she and other midwives have done for us. The buildings need to stay here where they belong.

Please don't disturb these important historical pieces. They are an integral part of our history. Their significance will be lost if moved to a place where no one appreciates them.

I was born at MBH and married at the Big House. These monuments are a part of us and our history and you have no right to take those from us.

You’ll never find a place with such a sense of community and pride. Let’s keep what built our county in our county. Respect what is ours so we can respect you.
