Torin is one of the greatest character in this story, how could you ever thought about killing him?! please, finally stop killing the best character

I believe that in Tolkien's magic world there is a place to kind magic, unexpected magic. Torin Duboshchit the neideplny character, places at it look through character shortcomings... but it always finds forces to cope with itself(himself) and to recognize the mistakes. This unusual quality which is seldom inherent in people, and especially to gnomes. Torin the great character, and it is worthy to live, especially after such long and difficult road to a victory! And his nephews, Philly and Kily are too young to die. Peter Jackson has a surprising opportunity - to copy history and прларить to it the happy end, бещ death of heroes. I think, this great act will make happy a half of mankind and will become history!

You know what... After 2nd Hobbit I thought, I'll not go to the third one cause this new Thorin is even better then I thought in my childhood. I cried so much, when he died in the book... Geez, this is the stupidest thing I've ever read. Thorin's death is meant to serve as a lesson about greed, and for that reason Thorin has to die. Any idiot who doesn't understand that is free to give the third film a pass if they don't like it.

THORIN MUST DIE!!!!!!!!!!!! Is that so hard to comprehend? I mean... Thorin's death is very important for plenty of things to happen in the Lord of the Rings... Balin´s axile to Moria, for example. Or Dain´s rule of Erebor, wich he turns into a great nation, even thu he dies in the battle of the Dale against the wild men of Khand. Also it´s important that the Arkenstone gets buried with him, beacause it would be too tempting for other creatures to trie to get it.... THORIN NEEDS TO DIE!!! This petition is totally illogical and I hope Peter Jackson will not follow such a strange idea to let Thorin, Fili and Kili survive the 3rd movie of The Hobbit. The Hobbit Trilogy is based on Tolkien's World and so it is important to change only unimportant things for the movies. In the history of Middle-earth Dáin Ironfoot is the next King under the Mountain, not Thorin II. For that reason all three most beloved dwarves have to die in the final battle. The Arkenstone is buried together with Thorin and to die as a warrior and hero is better than to die in old age in the bed. The dwarves of Tolkien follow a main message of the North Germanic Mythology, that it is most honourable to die in the battle for getting a place in Walhalla. So next December, the many tears for Thorin's, Fili's and Kili's deaths will be appropriate - and as we know: not all tears are full of evil...

This is very different. In those cases they introduce minor or medium changes, that don't damage the story (too much). But Thorin Oakenshield's death in the Hobbit is so important as Lord Voldemort's in the HP books. Thu he's not evi, he's greedy and corrupt by the idea of the Arkenstone, and so he dies. It's a lesson, not an author's game. Besides, TLOTR and TH are very different from other fantasy novels. Tolkien's work is litterature, not JUST FANTASY. Everithing has a deeper meaning, a hidden lesson, like viking sagas used to have.
