We the undersigned do hereby agree that: 1. Lower Macungie Township is negatively impacted by over-development and the destruction of scarce farmland. 2. The Jaindl Land Company’s proposed 700-acre land development plan represents another such destructive development. 3. Our area cannot properly sustain the proposed addition of 700 homes and 4 million square feet of warehouses. 4. Lower Macungie Township Commissioners voted to spend taxpayer funds to appeal a recent court decision, thereby acting in the interest of the Jaindl Land Company and development plan and against the interests of township residents. 5. The rezoning of the Jaindl land was not in the best interests of the township and we petition the Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners to take the necessary steps to invalidate the zoning ordinance and withdraw from the Memorandum of Understanding with Jaindl Land Company.

LMT resident here. This is ridiculous. Stop paving over everything. My kids deserve to grow up with trees, not just more blacktop and delivery trucks.

700 homes and more warehouses? Are they crazy? Traffic is already a nightmare on reach rd. We need to save the little bit of green space we have left.

Ridiculous waste of our tax money to fight for the developers. Just stop it.
