I am shocked that it was ever suggested to destroy any part if this precious habitat. Wr must think of the environment, not personal convenience.

Crucial habitats of wildlife are at steak. The relative wildness of the meadows is what makes them attractive also to Cambridge residents.

There is no justification for ruining this wonderful area of natural beauty and no demand for it from those who live in the vicinity.

I don't mind the cycle bridge bridge idea but don't understand why it can't follow the existing cycle paths. They could just be made bigger. Why does it have to go across Ditton fens? I walk there regulary and its my favourite spot in Cambridge. Please don't spoil it. Keep the cycle paths where they are. ..

While I fully support the provision of an enhanced cycle route crossing, I think this should be integrated with existing railway bridge and railway corridor - any disturbance to the meadows area should be minimised.
it would have a devastating effect on wildlife in the area which is one of the most diverse areas in the city

Add a "clip-on" cycle lane to existing Green Dragon Bridge & keep cyclists and pedestrians separate.

Too many places are threatened with development which is dressed up as 'growth' and sold to the public as 'necessary' and a means of helping 'the economy' (them) get richer when in fact the only folk to benefit are those involved at the top of the development tree

It's presposterous that such a development should be considered on this lovely area. The peace and tranquility of the meadow; its richness in biodiversity and value as a meadow habitat in a city that is increasingly being developed and new greenspace provided being highly managed - this would be utterly destructive and short-sighted.
