Please save the Cottage

I support the restoration of this gorgeous cottage, this is a heritage area and to replace it with cheap shed would destroy the look of the whole area.

It will be a sad loss for the community as there are heaps of plans for the use of s community space

Save some history

It’s vitally important that this jewel in the local community is restored and preserved.

Petition signed on behalf of the Swanbourne Coastal Alliance Inc., a local environmental group that wishes to use the cottage after its restoration is completed.

I support the conservation and restoration of the cottage and its use by community groups and friends - it is a beautiful and historic part of our suburbs history and heritage and should be preserved!

What a fabulous space for the community to use. In these days of ever increasing isolation it’s really nice to keep these places open for use to bring the community together

This beautiful heritage house must be kept for the Community.

Please save the cottage. It is an important asset for Nedlands

It is incumbent on a Local Authority to support Volunteer Groups who maintain and improve large tracts of Public Land and to provide meaningful premises particularly Heritage Listed for Volunteers to conduct their business in and to support the upkeep of what is the property of Local Government at a modest cost to ratepayers as a whole.

The cottage is an essential facility for the function of the Friends of Allen Park volunteer group and needs to be properly restored.

The Heritage Area and the Bush are what make this area special. The Bushland group has done the most amazing job over a very long period of time and dedicated thousands of hours. The work they have done has benefited everyone. Restoring the cottage would enhance the area for the whole community as well as help honour the work they have done.

This cottage has been the heart of a dedicated band of volunteers who have worked for over 20 years to restore the local bushland. This lovely original cottage is in urgent need of restumping & basic restoration before we lose it altogether - which would be a sad thing for the Heritage precinct & the community.

This local group has shown dedication and perseverance to maintain the Allen Park bush land. The cottage is an important historical landmark for the locals. The Council needs to persevere what heritage it has for the future generations.

This is a great facility that allows Council to tap into free labour & passion of community groups for a win-win ROI.

It is really important to restore this cottage to maintain the provenance of the Heritage Precinct, and to give a home for not-for profit community groups that support the bush regeneration.

A purpose built shed!! Come on..... This is a heritage area. It would stick out like a sore thumb & where would we gather to enjoy company, chat & a cuppa...?..

Thanks for considering preservation of this building which privides a space for Friends of Allen Park to operate out of. This group has contrubuted a great deal to preserving and regenerating the surrounding land for the benefit if the community, flora and fauna.

I support restoring the cottage. It has overlooked the playing fields for decades and would be sorely missed from the vista
