This is illegal under the NPIAS. The local pilot group should be perusing legal action with AOPA.

It seems if the city feels compelled to close the airport, then closing HWY 82 through Glenwood should be considered also. Neither seems to make sense.

It makes absolutely no sense to close an airport due to COVID19. Little to no interaction with others is necessary to fly GA airplanes.

The City of Glenwood earns at least half it's revenue from this Airport. I understand if it dosent make the City Council money it won't happen, but this is too far.

I don’t see a reason for it to be closed. Most GA pilots need a place to fly into for fuel
