There is no reasonable justification for closing the airport. Make fuel available. Keep people socially distant if needed but do not close the airport.

This is an outstanding airport that allows access to central CO that Aspen does not due to it’s excessive fees. Not all people that fly airplanes are rich. I sacrifice plenty to enjoy flying so I can see as much of the western US as possible.

Losing pilot proficiency or the use of an airport is not recommended. Social distancing can be easily achieved. If DIA AND ALL OTHER AIRPORTS in the state can remain open, the certainly Glenwood Springs airport can remain open.

Not only is the airport important for pilot proficiency, but also provides an emergency link for the town. It is paramount that this airport remains open.

There is no rational health reason to keep a small airport closed. Trust in government will be further diminished if the opportunity afforded by Polis to reopen is not taken.

General aviation airports can easily be run with social distancing. Hangars are large and well ventilated and fuel purchase requires no personal contact. This is very much an overreaction and safety concern for aircraft transiting the Rocky Mountains. Please consider revoking this closure.

The Glenwood Airport provides an important link to a beautiful city. The City of Glenwood should be exploring ways to expand the airport and the access if offers, not close it.
