The silence from those in charge is exactly what I expected but it does not make the work any easier. I am still tracking down every decision maker involved in these backroom appointments because transparency is not a request but a requirement.

The momentum behind this effort has grown into something I never expected when I first drafted these words. It is exhausting to keep pushing against this wall but knowing there are people behind me makes the work feel possible.

The integrity of the orchestra is at stake here. keep the auditions mandatory.
this is ridiculous. every single musician should have to earn their spot on that stage fair and square.

total nonsense. auditions are how you know who is actually good enough to be there. stop the shortcuts.
