I fully support this movement and think that it would be an incredible thing to incorporate as I was sexual assualted multiple times in college as were most of my close friends. Most people don't even know what constitutes sexual assault let alone how to report it.

We also need more complexity in the programming, addressing sexual assault and battery targeting members of the lgbt community and between members of the same sex. Male-identifying victims often don't report, because of the myth that men can't be raped. Also, it would be good to talk more plainly about yes means yes consent in more than just the context of intercourse.

I will no longer drink without another girl with me. I even have trouble trusting guys I am close with based on past experiences

My little sister is attending Tech next year- I want to know that she'll be a part of a community where her autonomy will be taken seriously.

I think more Hokies, not just incoming freshman, could benefit from a program like this and am interested to know if there are any ideas on how get branch out and get the larger Tech community engaged.

The number of people I know who have experienced sexual violence at Virginia Tech is unacceptable. Our administration is failing students and it's time for that to change

As a victim of sexual assault and both emotional and sexual abuse by the hands of a "partner", I believe that there needs to be more than just an online seminar regarding sexual assault, alcohol use and its abuse, and consent. People need to understand what consent is, the consequences of their actions, and what it really means to say no. Too many sexual assaults have happened on campus, we need to make a change in our attitudes and response to such issues. As someone who has experienced the horrors and personal violations that which so many others have, I urge you to stand up, speak out, and sign the petition to change how we, ask Hokies, address sexual assault as an institution and as individuals.

I have 2 sisters, a mother, a grandmother, 10 female cousins, 9 aunts, and know countless girls I'm grateful to call friends. I want every woman to feel safe and comfortable every time they leave the safety of their home. We've got to take more drastic measures to fight sexual assault, for the sake all the wonderful ladies out there. Peace and love✌
