As an alumnus (and human being), it's horrifying that such a program should even have to be instilled, but the rise of assault reports absolutely demands action be taken.

This is such a small and attainable change that the VT administration should make. I would like to hear more from them and the campus police on further actions they plan on taking to take this situation more seriously!

I agree that online seminars do not properly address any of the issues that are faced in real life. Also, it is really easy to breeze through the online seminars without paying any attention or caring.

An online PowerPoint does not properly address the issue of sexual assault. Talking about sexual assault needs to be personalized because it is a person to person issue. Having a computer teach incoming freshman only furthers the objectification that so often surrounds victims of sexual assault.
