When I have reached 500 signatures, I will be writing a letter to Gatesville Parole Board to support her application for parole. The damage has already been done, this woman has had years of her life stolen from her by an incompetent justice system. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren have had their family member stolen from them for nearly 19 years but we can help stop this injustice from continuing. HELP RELEASE HELEN SHREVE.

I just watched the episode about Helen on Women Behind Bars. I'm shocked and sad this happened. I'd like to help. Please let me know if you've contacted the innocence project.
Completely agree! Also after following this case and hearing the judge herself speak even she felt that there was no physical evidence yet imposed 50yr sentence?? There was absolutely no physical evidence only the word of mouth from the confessed shooter who mind you stuck a deal and walked out of prison after serving only 5 of 7 yrs
I have highly researched this case. This woman was railroaded. It was like kangaroo court with only hearsay evidence. They worked to get themselves out of trouble and blame and innocent person. I do not know how the jury could find her guilty with zero evidence. It took almost a week which means those fighting for not guilty were sick of being there and gave in to go home. SHAMEFUL! Justice was not served. Free Helen Shreves!
How can you hand down a guilty verdict and a 50 year sentence because someone ( maybe the actual murderer) said she did It? Her daughter convinced me of being a reliable alibi. Not to speak ill of the dead, but if he beat on his wife he probably pissed off more than that one woman in his lifetime. It looks very much like law enforcement zeroed in on her and stopped looking. Helen Sheves 3rd husband acquired her business and home after he and the shooter (Larry) put her behind bars with their testimony. Horrible he has been living off what she built while she is locked up.
She needs to be released!!
It is hard for me to believe that she was put in prison for 50 years because some very bad people said she did something so they could get out of trouble. It is passed time for someone to do the right thing and let her go home to her loving family.

Just finished watching women behind bars. I strongly believe this was a setup and solid evidence or DNA that she committed this crime. So how she got convicted of murder for 50 years is so shocking and very sad. Poor lady. Get her out of jail. Even her daughter testified that her mum was with her at the time of murder. So based on hearsay shes doing 50 years!! Larry who shot Tony Martinez and admitted this in a confession only served 7 years. Shocking!!!
