I have compiled the feedback from students regarding these graduation fees and am finalizing a formal letter to the university administration. This document outlines why these costs are a barrier for families and requests a complete audit of the ceremony budget. A follow-up meeting with the student union representatives is currently being arranged to present our findings.

The administration has acknowledged the volume of signatures and requested a formal meeting to discuss fee structures. I am currently preparing the documentation to present our case for removing these graduation costs.

Total BS. They should be celebrating the students not treating their families like cash cows.

Its ridiculous. My parents and grandparents both want to come and that is 45 quid just to get them in the door. Fix this!
This is greedy. The uni has enough money already without fleecing parents on graduation day.
15 quid just to watch my own daughter walk across the stage is a joke. we already paid thousands in tuition.

10 pounds for a video link? Absolute robbery. It costs pennies to stream something online.
