Campaign for Clemency and Release of Holly Coomber--Organizational Supporters
Holly has already served more years in prison than ever contemplated by the courts in which she was prosecuted for for crimes committed by the man charged by law with her welfare. There is is no legitimate reason to continue to punish her with confinement.
Holly Coomber needs the benefit of the more elevated professional treatment and vocational guidance available outside the prison setting to continue her path forward beyond what the prison system can and does provide for her continuing rehabilitation.
Holly Coomber has made great strides in personal development during her two decades of confinement and has earned clemency in the form of a commutation of her minimum sentence in New York.
We urge Governor David Paterson to grant clemency to Holly Coomber in 2010.

Enough! I've corresponded w/Holly via letters. She is NOT the monster that she's being portrayed as. She is intelligent, ambitious, and a very sweet person. If I had a daughter, I would be proud to have her strive to be like Holly is now. How could she be STILL held responsible for something that happened while she was under the control of an animal? She was a CHILD for God's sake! Shame on the politicians and the 'system' that keeps a good person locked away in a cage rather than let her be a POSITIVE and CONTRIBUTING member of our society. She deserves that chance.
I’ve heard Holly’s life story . I feel due to the childhood trauma she experienced from her adopted family and the coercive control of William Allen, that at 17 , she was not culpable of either of those murders, but actually another victim. In the 80’s her mitigated circumstances wouldn’t have been known the way we recognize them now . She pulled no triggers and was under Allen’s control the whole time

free this woman now. She has been screwed over by every orfanisation that was meant to help and support her.. You owe it to do good-to be just and put this wrong right. Do the right thing please. She has more than paid for this-she was a young woman without adult mind. i call on you to be lenient. Grant clemency now.
She should not have been in jail in the first place! Justice for Holly!!

She was a child. What if that was your little girl, granddaughter,sister? Many parents and others would have killed that man. Yet they blame the child. Let her go. Enough is enough. She's broken and defeated and she's Gods Child and NOBODY WOULD HELP HER FROM THE BEGINNING!!!! PLEASE RIGHT THIS WRONG and Help Her This Time!!!
