I use the roads over the level crossings regularly and the traffic congestion they cause is monumental

Agree it is essential to deal with the railway crossings as part of the Southern Gateway. There should be ample funds from the various development projects.

Let's grasp this once in a lifetime opportunity to get it right for Chichester. This alternative proposal to that published by CDC is credible, innovative and addresses the issue of keeping traffic flowing around Chichester. This alternative must be considered before any decisions are made.

Chichester badly needs bridges to save the needless traffic congestion in this busy city.

This is a splendid idea - especially the Conference centre. Chichester lacks a large space and a quality hotel for over 500 beds The area is attractive for accompanying members programmes but does not have a central facility. This project would lift the standard of the southern part of the city which is not the best at present.

Excellent logical idea which should be discussed and pursued.

very simply, the number one priority should be to close the level crossings and create a constant route over or under the trainlines i.e. a bridge.
everything else pales into significance.

This is a very good solution to this part of the problem and it would enhance, not detract from, our beautiful city
