We,Cypriots& friends of Cyprus from all over the world,
wish to empower the Cypriot political leaders to demand a solution to the problem of Cyprus with Turkey based on international law & to seek to upgrade the Republic's constitution in accordance with universal truth and logic:
No community should be granted special status in the freed Cyprus Republic and no ethnic-based zones should be created. Every legal citizen of the country, whether of Latin, Armenian, Maronite, Turkish, Greek or other heritage, should be able to enjoy equality on a 'one-person, one-vote basis', with full respect of her/his human and cultural rights, as a proud citizen of the European Union.

The weight of this situation sits heavy on me today as I continue to read the stories you share about the reality of our divided home. I am spending my hours reaching out to officials to ensure our demand for equality remains on their desks despite the lack of direct responses so far. We are exhausted but the truth of our position keeps me moving forward.

I lived in Cyprus as a child and can remember when one could freely visit Kyrenia, one of my favourite places. I hear one can no longer do this easily. What a shame!

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR A RIGHT AND REAL SOLUTION: No community should be granted special status in the freed Cyprus Republic and no ethnic-based zones should be created. Every legal citizen of the country, whether of Latin, Armenian, Maronite, Turkish, Greek or other heritage, should be able to enjoy equality on a 'one-person, one-vote basis', with full respect of her/his human and cultural rights, as a proud citizen of the European Union.
This is very important if there is going to a real lasting solution for Cyprus and all its citizens.

Something so obvious but still our politicians are trying to convince us that this is not an option! It is the only option and the only way forward!!
I am greatly concerned on where BBF is going to lead the people of the island of Cyprus. I try to believe in a secure peaceful future for them under this complex proposal but find it difficult.

I truly believe that being half Cypriot myself, I for one would love that Cyprus is a free and peaceful country. where all races like Greeks, Armenians, Turks and Cypriots; don't let the past tear us apart but instead bring us all closer together. its what we need for a safer and free country where everyone has equal rights. do the right thing by signing, I love all races greeks, Armenians, etc and think we should reunite together as a whole. we are all living together lets get our country back as a whole.
