Having drug on many years this is cruelty to BOTH Brindi and her owner! The government of Halifax should be ashamed of itself for its dictatorial, communistic actions. This should go to an impartial arbitrator to save money for both sides!

This can only be defined as incompetence. This situation simply requires common sense & compassion. If the administrator or whomever is in charge can't find a humane resolution then he/she/they need to step aside & let someone else come in that has the capacity to take on this job which requires good work ethics, compassion & the drive to solve problems in a constructive manner, rather than taking the easy way out & killing an innocent & defenseless dog.

Surely the Council could now be charged with animal cruelty for keeping her imprisoned for such a long time? Contact the Lexus Project & get their help.

She is just one example of a stupid bunch of so-called HRM employees, who are using her as an example.....for doing nothing to be where she is.....wonder how they sleep at night. Other animal killers go free and get nothing....NO SENSE

City of Halifax, stop it. Surely you've made your point by now - you are all-powerful and you can stand between a woman and her dog, and threaten to kill the dog with no good reason. The world has heard you. Now let Brindi live out the few years she has left with Francesca.

Please let Brindi go home. Have a heart. You all know she is a wonderful little soul. Let her be reunited with her mom.

Brindi is a very friendly and lovable dog she has stayed with me a few times. It is the very unfriendly neighbours that have a hate on for Ms. Rogier. One of them works for the planning dept. in HRM.

Why so long in captivity. The dog must be truly demoralized & emotionally ill. Conclusions should have been drawn by now.Shameful animal abuse at tax payers expense!

I have watched this unfold from the beginning and it is very vindictive and unjustified in nature. FREE BRINDI once and for all.
