This poor dog has been the victim of a system that has little to do with real justice and more to do with an ongoing vendetta against the dog's owner. The city is guilty of animal abuse by keeping this beautiful dog for years in what amounts to prison, all for a misdemeanour. Watching this from a distance it is a travesty of justice for Brindi and her owner. Please, do what is right and let Brindi go home with her owner to live out what's left of her life.

The actions & reactions of HRM Animal Services are reprehensible & indefensible! This is an outrage and travesty of justice, violation of Halifax by laws, dereliction of duty, obstruction of justice, personal vendetta against Francesca Rogier, illegal cover up of incompetence & wrong on every level. Almost SIX years of an innocent dog's life have been stolen, and in fact, visitations by her owner & Veterinarian means that HRM official likely have already ILLEGALLY KILLED BRINDI!!! We want PROOF that she is alive & want her RELEASED IMMEDIATELY!! She has wrongfully been accused & abused by animal services, held behind bars, suffering in solitary confinement, in sub standard, short term, unlicensed facility. Punishment for over 5 yrs far exceeds the "canine crime" causing a once vibrant dog with five expert evaluations to become an unhealthy SENIOR being denied veterinary care for health issues caused by her lock up. Halifax has caused excessive suffering, needlessly cost hundreds of thousands of tax dollars, abuse of authority, conflict of interest, violations of animal rights, human rights, property rights, taxpayers' rights, Supreme Court order and cover ups of corruption. The international outcry has been ignored, and Halifax tourism will suffer from boycotts & lawsuits. What a HELL HOLE HALIFAX IS. Be forewarned: If you are an animal lover don't move or even visit Halifax. Your pets could be seized & killed without cause or due process!!

Why kill a perfectly healthy living being? There is absolutely no reason to do that. Ever. Unless you are threatened to your life and that is the last chance for you to survive. It's called defense I belive. So do the right thing and set the dog free, before it's too late.

Please spare this dog and let the owner continue with their very reasonable plans to remedy the situation. This dog has not even bitten a human and ANY dog may on occasion take on alpha dog qualities when in the company of other dogs. I have always had dogs and if I put them down every time they exhibited alpha dog behavior in this manner I would have to be crazy. It did not even seriously harm another dog. It would be over reaction to kill Brindi and very sad. PLEASE reconsider! Thank you

For the very limited misdemeanors that Brindi has been involved in, absoloutely NO. WAY must this dig be euthanized & should be returned to its owner Ms. Rogier who has done everything reasonable. & possible to prove to the Halifax animal authorities that Brindi is kept in a safe environment for any concerned citizens. Halifax, you should exert your tine on more important issues, like hunters that kill Bears at will, for no reason. & those thst murder Seals in your country by the thousands, THEY are criminals, NOT this dear lady. & her equally dear & valued dog.
