The Government and the armed forces of Uganda must stop harassing Dr. Besigye. The illegal siege of Dr. Besigye's home must stop at once. Dr. Besigye must be free to leave his home at any time and be any means he chooses.

This is harassment plain and simple. Let the man live his life without the military breathing down his neck. Uganda deserves better than this.
