I have been hearing from so many of you about how these beaches serve as an essential escape for your families. The council remains silent regarding our concerns but your stories remind me why this fight is so necessary for our community.

Seeing this level of support reminds me exactly why our beaches must remain accessible to every family. This momentum proves that I am not the only one who sees these charges as a barrier to the place I grew up loving.

total nonsense my kids love these beaches and we go every weekend. stop trying to squeeze every penny out of us local families.
Ridiculous. We pay our council tax already. Why should we be taxed again just to go for a walk by the sea?
I wont be able to afford to visit anymore if they start this. So unfair to pensioners.
Been going to these beaches my whole life and never had to pay. Leave them alone!!!!
Disgraceful. The council want us to be active but then put up barriers. Do better.

Keep our beaches free. Charging for parking is just a money grab plain and simple.
