TWHS Alum 2011 -- Please do not do this. It is NOT good for mental health. Human beings (aka your students) need to be outside and connected with nature, and that's PROVEN to lower stress levels, not fake grass and concrete. I thought we wanted kids to go outside more and spend less time on devices?? How does this encourage that???

As a TWHS alumni, I always loved the courtyard. Having a chance to enjoy the day walking from class to class or having my lunch outdoors to get away from being locked up in a dungeon all day. It raises your moral during the day. DON’T GET RID OF THE COURTYARD!

I graduated TWHS back in 2017. I LOVED the courtyard. Being able to get fresh air between classes, eating outside.

Class of 2017 here. It was hugely beneficial for me to have real trees and grass to hang out and decompress in during lunch, inbetween classes, etc. Save the trees!

No reason at all change the courtyard if not to add more foliage. The courtyard has always been a place that adds a charming and relaxing atmosphere to the school.
