Mr. Nielsen--I am a former customer. I have been recreating in the backcountry for longer than both you and your company have been on planet Earth. Until you let me know that you have withdrawn all lawsuits and compensated all businesses that you have targeted, I will take my business elsewhere.

I read the CEO's so called apology. It reminds of when my kid got caught doing something bad and was oh so sorry, because he got caught. The CEO had to sign off on those actions, its his way. No matter what he says, actions speak louder than words. I certainly am done with backcountry.com, too many other options.

Backcountry.com’s apology (11/6ish) is totally not sufficient. There are so many other responsible companies to buy from.

Another example poor ethics by a company. People like this give the rest of us a bad reputation and pollute what we are actually for.

The backcountry community is a strong and vibrant group of people committed to the sustainable values within us all. The outgregous idea of Commercializing and trademarking the backcountry has no place or value within in the community. The backcountry belongs to all users summer, spring, fall and winter and not defined by a single season like winter. Do the research, ask the backcountry community and industry, be receptive and engage conversation, don't be a bully

I use to trust this company and their employees when purchasing gear for my outdoor adventures, however recent legal proceedings have shown me that I have help fuel a greedy corporation. Your actions have demonstrated that we do not share values when it comes to the outdoors and its community. Until, you have paid restitution to those that have been harmed and drop pending litigation I refuse to be a consumer of backcountry.com.

Restorative Justice requires that reimbursement for legal expenses for all of the small companies that you preyed upon be refunded, and that those small businesses be made whole again.

Backcountry for all. Ruining smaller companies over a common name we all use is bullying and will not be tolerated by most! To Bad I used to use Backcountry.com a lot. Please STOP what your doing! Be the loved not the Hated! Peace!

The term backcountry should remain as free as the feeling while out there.

TSG Consumer Partners: Consider getting out of the outdoor industry. It's clear your leadership doesn't know this community, and will likely be unsuccessful because of this.

Oddly, I found this site when I did an online search for a Christmas present, which the never to be mentioned country advertised, along with other online retailers. I was not familiar with them, but the article on their activities popped up prominently, leading me to message them and place them on my "NEVER SHOP LIST" no matter how they resolve this issue...
