VALLEY FREE RADIO – WXOJ-LP
RESTORE FREE SPEECH FOR RADICAL FEMINIST'S AT VFR
END THE 'NO-PLATFORMING' OF DISSENTING VIEWS ON GENDER THEORY AT VFR
END CENSORSHIP OF RADICAL FEMINIST CALLS FOR “WOMEN ONLY” SPACE
Whereas: The 'No-platforming' of leading Radical Feminist academics and activists who offer critiques of Gender Theory and the Transgender political movement nationally and internationally is a strategic tactic used by transgender activists to silence dissenting opinions; AND
Whereas: Said tactics have effectively silenced Radical Feminist opposition on campus, in the media and in the political arena; AND
Whereas: The suspension of a co-host of the Bread and Roses Show - for airing an evidentiary report by Jane Williams in support of fears, expressed by women, of predatory attacks due to this State's elimination of 'woman only' changing rooms and bathroom facilities - mirrors this national pattern; AND
Whereas: The airing of the Jane Williams report was part of a platform initiative for Radical Feminist's voices offered by said co-host of The Bread and Roses Show on Valley Free Radio, who has in the past months included interviews and lectures by Radical Feminists and who had planned additional programming in the future.
We, the undersigned, call upon the Board of Directors at Valley Free Radio to recognize the radical feminist women in your community as a legitimate minority voice with rights to freedom of speech and lack of discrimination on WXOJ-LP. To this end we call upon the Board to reverse the suspension action by the Programming Committee of the co-host of the Bread and Roses Show and allow the free flow of idea's, information and evidenced based opinion – the promise of this platform - to continue:

I really thought this might just fizzle out in the void but the sheer volume of people nodding along to these concerns is honestly wild to see. It is funny because I was just staring at the wall yesterday thinking about how quiet things were but now the momentum is shifting in a way that feels like actual movement. People are talking about this now and that is exactly the point of bringing a microphone into the room or at least trying to.

Feminism is not hate speech. 90 percent of violent crime is committed by males and male crime rates are not lower among males who call themselves women. We must have a voice to speak the truth and counter rape culture. Please, let us have our voice.
"No-platforming", deliberate prevention of debate, is a totalitarian measure. Democracy requires that conflicting opinions be heard & respected. Please behave democratically.
Its 2017. The fact that women only space needs to be >defended< is appalling. This is misogyny stripped of all pretense. Stop the repression of biology, and the erasure of "woman" as, you know, a real thing.......
This is an international issue as the same silencing of feminist voices is taking place in a number of countries. Free speech is a fundamental necessity fir a free society.
Free and civil discourse ought never to be stifled! Merely because you directors may not agree is no reason at all to suspend a co-host and to continue the limiting of freedom of speech and thought. Radical Feminist views are just as important as the ideas put out by trans activists.
No one is free unless all are free. Preserve Democracy's Free Speech
I am sssooo sick of this New McCarthyism that primarily targets women-born-women, and has taken a fascist approach to Free Speech.

As a long-time VFR and Bread and Roses Show listener/supporter, while not taking a position on either side of the issue under discussion itself, my signature represents my objection to censorship/support for free speech at VFR.
