If you want a Safe Space then move back in wth your parents, hide under your bedsheets and suck your thumb like the child you are. People in the world are not always going to agree with you, just because you can't handle your emotions in these situations it doesn't mean other people should do it for you

How desperately sad the centre of Scottish Enlightenment has degenerated to the Dark Ages, gripped by despotism and with scarce means of holding EUSA or the NUS to account.

About time someone said what everybody was thinking! Friends of mine in the year above were tempted to run for EUSA positions just to undo all of this piss-poor nonsense EUSA calls legislation

Basic human rights should be enforced, and nothing should stop you from voicing your opinion. Of course, we cannot have bullying and racism and other such things, but opinions exist to be heard and acted upon!

How can a student union, of all institutions, survive without a free and open discussion of ideas? How could the policy and statements of a body that had already circumscribed the possible range of opinion ahead of its decisions, hold any weight?
