Our justice system is broken. The system in the U.S. is not set up for justice, rehabilitation or reentry as it should be. We can and have to do better

The "victim" assaulted a 4 year old. The 4 year old is the real victim here. Her life is ruined. Richard Stahursky did something any normal person would of done.

Richard has paid his debt to society. The 9999 year sentence is cruel and inappropriate and unjustified. After YEARS in solidarity confinement to be returned to general population without transitional counseling was setting him up for failure. His repeated requests not to be housed with sexual predators went ignored. The trauma from his childhood coupled with the lack of mental health counseling lead to this unfortunate incident. It's time for him to return to society, to bond and grow with his children and become a member of society.

Please let him be released from solitary. I myself did over 20 years in prison with 6 years in solitary. I am a changed man and been home over 5 years so proven that change is possible with us all.

They need to let you out. Your family should sue the prison for violating the 8th amendment.

Free this man immediately!
He should get an award, not a life sentence.
You deserve to be home, Richie.
