Anyone with a well treated dog would know it would protect it’s owner if it suspected them being injured. These things happen, and that dog was just trying to protect her owner. It didn’t do it out of pure anger, possibly fear for her owners life.

I've known Blaine for a few months now and have worked with her this past summer. She is a great dog lover and always spoke highly of her dog as we exchanged stories of our dogs and the unconditional love they give us when we're not having the greatest of days. Give her dog BACK! SHE has not done any wrong. The dog was just protecting his owner. Why punish her or him for something a loyal and loving dog does NATURALLY?!? This is absurd and Blaine should get her dog back. She had COVID and the fact the cops didn't even ask if she was okay means they only cared for themselves and not those they're supposed to serve and protect. Free Rollo. He needs to be with his family. He's a dog and doesn't know Man's laws or regulations. Why separate this family especially in these messed up "COVID days".

One bite while fearing for his owner is not an aggressive dog.

By Virginia law a dog cannot be deemed vicious or a dangerous dog if it bites out of protective instinct for its owner or his property

This is wrong, apparently the officers don’t understand dogs. There are regulations on this. Someone should have listened. Sometimes they need to consider the circumstances.

I have a few choice words for some of the cops around the valley but I’ll just keep them to myself. Sounds like the cop was more worried about revenge on the dog then your well being. SMH... free this dog. They can’t tell the deference between a cop and an intruder.
