I'm a local, but I do not live in city limits.
I fall in the 29588 so we are always screwed when it comes to free beach access anywhere along Horry County coast.

What are you thinking? The locals support Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas. The price for visitors is also crazy. $20 a week yes....

I do not support the parking charges set for the beach. There needs to be modifications to hours set, shouldn't be longer than 9a-5p. Also more needs to offered to All residents of Myrtle Beach, We all financially support the area, not just those that live in the 'city'.

The beach is for everyone! Lived in Massachusetts and had to stop going to Cape cod for this reason. Just because you can afford a house ocean front does not mean you have the right to "own" the beach!!!

We, too, have a Myrtle Beach address and use Myrtle Beach businesses, supporting the city with sales tax.

Going to the beach is supposed to be one of the very few things that we can still do for free in this country. Nobody should have to pay to park at a beach access, especially not locals like Jennifer Forehand who lives at Plantation Point which, I guess doesn't have a MB address. Come on guys, stop being so greedy. And if you're gonna be greedy, take money from the tourists, especially the ones from Ohio

I have lived in Horry County for almost 20 years, 10 of which I lived with a Myrtle Beach address. I think ANY resident of Horry County should be able to park without a parking fee. All this has done is insult the people this area rely on during off-season. I know I will be taking my family elsewhere and will spread the word to my family and friends to visit the surrounding beaches, NOT the city of Myrtle Beach.

We live in Carolina Forest. The beach is the ONLY reason we moved here from KY. Way to treat year round residents. Fail.

I live in 29579, Myrtle Beach, SC. Because I'm not in the city, I will have to pay that fee. 2 times higher than the Boardwalk area. I will go elsewhere with ALL of my beach money.

If you are a local resident approve residency of Myrtle Beach you should be given a sicker for parking.

I'm in the correct zone to get a decal, but people a couple blocks away are out due to these "out of city pockets." How is that fair? Needs to be for all locals, by area code, or mark the Myrtle Beach line East of the waterway.
