I am sickened by this ruling. I surf and I'm already designated to certain areas. Now I have to pay?! It's rediculous and completely unfair to people who live in Myrtle Beach, but just not in the city!

I am sad to see this ruling and hope enough people speak up so it is changed. One of things I loved when we moved here was how accessible the beach was for locals, mainly the free access lots. It seemed like a great thank you to those living, working, and spending in our community. Now because I live 2 or 3 miles outside of city limits I cannot afford to take my children to the beach. The free access lots had nothing to do with the unsafe parking on both side of ocean blvd. and I truly feel this is just an attempt to make the golden mile unaffordable so that it becomes like private beach for its residents.

This is ridiculous! If your license shows Myrtle Beach as your city of residence, you should get a parking decal... PERIOD!

This will hurt business. Put a bad taste in the mouth of tourist. Most importantly piss the people off who frequently go to the beach who live in the state much less Horry co residents! Its our front yard

I live in Carolina Forest and work on Seaboard and River Oaks also. Pay taxes and fees here like anyone else. I don't feel I should have to pay the same cost as tourists

I live in Myrtle Beach west of the waterway & refuse to pay to park at the beach. I spend money year round on the Blvd but will spend it somewhere else if they don't change this ruling.

I think Carolina Forest residents are the people paying taxes most affected by this. It is completely ridiculous to pay that amount of money to go to a public beach. What is the money now earned going to?

Non-city residents need to be included and heard. We will probably generate more revenue with these meters than tourists!

I have lived in the MB area since 1967, I have been going to the beach access at 47th for about 20 years, now I will have to pay, this is really ridiculous. Now I can't afford to go to the beach!!!
