The school administration has confirmed that Mr. Arden will remain our band director for the upcoming year. It is heartening to see how clearly the community expressed its appreciation for his leadership. We have achieved our goal and can now look forward to a successful season under his continued guidance.

Alcoa High School is lucky to have a teacher as dedicated to the band program, and the kids as Mr. Arden.
Mr Arden deserves this role! He has worked with the students and for these students. He is enthusiastic, energetic and knows music. Arden connects with the students and teaches them music and life skills. My son was a senior this past year and I observed a band teacher who was involved and enjoyed his role as their Director. Yes, Arden deserves to be AHS band director.
I hate to see this happening! Ross is such an awesome person and most definitely loved all the kids ecpecially his band kids. ❤️ Hope to see him back for 2017-2018 and beyond!
My son sincerely respects Mr. Arden and would be crushed if one of his favorite teachers would no longer teach his favorite subjects. To remove Mr. Arden from this learning environment would not only do injustice to my son but also to all of the students who feel love for him. Please take all of our thoughts into consideration.
He is the type of teacher that cares and makes students happy and want to learn and strive to be better. He has done a lot to make my hard days better and is such a positive influence. I am astonished this is even an issue. Arden is the type of employee and faculty member Alcoa needs more of.

M.r Arden is an awesome teacher and probly one of the best teachers IV had and will have and he cares about all his students and the band so much. and I think that it's going to be the worst thing posable for this band to have to go through another change and I can bet alot of people wouldn't come back again next year.
