I'm new here just found this article attached to information about censorship that caucasians are using on their social media and every where else where it matters. I read your story about your brother. I am sadden by the lost of your brotha who's battles with mental illness were not considered inside police custody. I can only imagine what that was like for your beloved brotha around strange and hostile people. I'm willing to bet not one of them had training on signs to look for when someone suffers with mental illness. I'm willing to bet your beloved brotha didn't stand a chance being black afrikan male. I am truly sadden by your lost and I am honored to sign your petition. I am writing a book about mental illness in the black community. I desire to be finish before the end of 2015. Black afrikans are stigmatized if they display any sort of behavior mood disorders and on the other hand white americans are give a pass. As far as what transpired during those 18 days I would not stop until I found out every single inch of details I could find about my loved one in this case your brotha. I'm on you team.

Who suppresses the truth but liars. Do we have a nation of sociopaths running our justice system? Who is scarier the sociopath on the street or the one who builds teams while in office?

"Sometimes, I have dared to dream ... that one day, history may even say that my voice -- which disturbed the white man's smugness, and his arrogance, and his complacency -- that my voice helped to save America from a grave, possibly even fatal catastrophe," Malcolm wrote.

Those further along in recovery from mental illnesses should voice not only their needs but also help pave the road to acceptance and more humane treatment of our peers. What slows down one diminishes all. Therefore stand up for a better future for us and our lives and of those that help us live healthier more productive lives. And vehemently expose any injustice against any one of us. Until we are more vocally vigilant against abuse of ourselves, and those of us who need us to be their voice, there can sadly be only treatment of any of us; maltreatment!
