America, the land of the free, should celebrate brave and compassionate people like Mary, and her courageous stand for the rights of the mentally ill incarcerated wrongly in prisons when they deserve understanding and assistance. Any interference is, as I understand it, illegal according to the constitution, immoral and against all the US stands for, and should cease immediately.

Please help us protect our loved ones from brutality against minorities, the mentally ill, and the homeless, Mr. Holder. So many ugly truths are surfacing about blatant discriminatory practices against these 3 target citizen audiences. We are desperate for your support--if not to unearth past injustices, to at least prevent current and future ones. Sincerely, Donna Pitts

My nephew is in a Texas prison. when I went to see him, he told me that even prisoners who have good behavior, are not released early. They are considered cash cowsl It is too hot to stay in a concrete cell with 4 concrete walls and no windows. I want to know why the temperature cannot go over 89 in county jails and those same laws are not including prisons.
