Please reconsider the decision to kill Marley. There isn't any viable reason to put him down. Marley was protecting his child from a threat.

Marley should be immediately released and returned to his family. Consideration should be given to the circumstances surrounding this event with the realization that this dog is NOT aggressive and poses no real threat to the community or anyone in his family.

Hi my name is belinda, and I want to say that we as humans get chances in life but for our beloved animals who can't speak for their selfs dont, I have a friend and he also had a dog, he was on his property a boy walking by decided to mess with his dog started throwing things at the dog well the boy was being abusive and he said that the dog bite which they said. I pet that dog and he was a loving pet, it saddens me how grown ups and older kids can be so cruel to our beloved pets, but I think they should have a chance to live, to much killing in our world know.you want to hear something funny I have cats and I would protect them in anyway. I am a animal lover just because I have cats doesn't mean that I don't care for dogs I love them all so please give another chance for life and to go home
Thank you.

I was planning to move to Panama City in the near future. Reading this and the injustice done to the poor family and their pet. Please give this dog back to the family and euthanized the nosy troublemaking neighbor

Free Marley. He did what he should have done under the circumstances. It is the fifteen year old who should be punished--not the dog! This was not make this dog dangerous! Get on with things that require legal attention.

I agree that he should not be put to sleep. Training him to be protective probably was not the best decision for a family pet.

This is ridiculous. Who hasn't been nipped or scratched by their pup while playing? That's how dogs play. Outrageous. That county prosecutor is a miserable, unhappy person bent on spreading misery wherever she can. Marley must be freed.
