Please send Marley back to his family. Sounds like the person making the decisions is an animal hater. If his family wants him back, send him back home. He is part of their family. Do the right thing!!!!!!!!!

That nosy neighbor and attorney ought to mind their own business. If the family has a problem they can take care of it themselves. It sounds as if they are the ones who deal with the problem. I cannot believe they are allowed to take this sort of action. I wish people would get a life.

What is going on with the prosecutors in Florida??All of these insane charges against dogs in these counties. I am suppose to move to Fla. this summer, but am terrified for my sweet dog. They need to get some laws that protect these animals. If you have so much time, go after all the drug smugglers you have there and stop torturing these families with your petty nonsense.

Please let this dog go, even the boy he nipped wants him back home. Why should some attorney who wants to be the boss of everybody be allowed to determine if this dog should be killed or not. That's not right. Stick to your own issues lady !!

I am an up close witness to 9/11 not on tv mind you.. You are kidding me, to kill this dog is a travesty. I mention 9/11 because I am tired of all the crazy. Its connected... the Dog was rescued from Kabel ....Compassion should rule the day, from what I have read, this is very wrong. We can kill and kill but without mercy we are a hopeless lot. Something is very wrong with this. We can abuse and kill animals but if they have a reaction we kill them. SHAMEFUL. What duty are you as animal control really fulfilling? Animal abusers who maim and destroy get a slap on the wrist....Murders go free....the dog gets no chance why?????????

I agree that common sense should be applied to this situation. There is no evidence that this is a dangerous dog as one nip during play does not indicate that any dog is dangerous. Marley is a beloved family pet who should be returned to his home. Please return this dog to his home.

Common sense should be applied. A nip during play does not constitute dangerous behaviour! The family know their dog. The behaviour of animal control is far more damaging to that family!

Please return this dog to his owners and right the wrong that has been done. Furthermore, allow this family access to their beloved pet. The actions of this animal control agency are outrageous!

This case is horror. This dog was being a dog, he was brought up with the skills to not only protect humans but himself as well. When I had my daughter I had a cat that never was introduced to babies. When June would wave her paw in the air & tap her tail I knew enough was enough for her. As the both got older my dtr would play roughly with Junie & got a smack in the face and was asking for it.
Just as humans have to learn we expect animals to have human emotions they appear to have. We will never know what animals think & feel. We can just be intuned with each other.
Marley did a wonderful & brave act by risking his dog life to protect his 5yr/old human. I'm sure I'd lash out if I thought anyone was harming my humans

Marley should not be euthanized -- his family is desperate to save him - if you read the story -- it makes no sense to kill this dog - he thought he was protecting another family member and simply nipped the older boy. A nosy neighbor got involved and called Animal Control -- none of this should have happened. SAVE MARLEY!!!!!
