I can't imagine why you are so intent on destroying a family pet. The family wants him back and he should be returned immediately.

I am a Escambia County, FL resident and also own property in Bay County.
Bay County officials need to return this families pet "Marley" to his family.
K9s are pack animals and will protect a member of there packs and even give there life in protecting such pack.
To a dog that lives with humans, to them these humans are its pack and will defend them as though they were K9s themselves.
This pet was only doing what he felt was expected of him.

Please let Marley go home. I'm sure he was just being a little protecting. If the family wasn't upset then I'm sure it is not a problem with them. He can be trained to not be quite so protecting.

Sounds like Marley was doing exactly what he would be expected to do - and was mistakenly believing there was a threat to a child. How could he possibly know that this was "play". If the family are comfortable with Marley in their home, I see no reason at all why he should be removed. This is just a huge overreaction to a family matter, and should not involve any Animal Control personnel. The unfairness to this lovely dog just makes me furious. Clearly he is a much loved family pet.

Marley deserves to be back with his family. Obviously the attorney does not know anything about dogs protecting their flock be it animal or human. Prayers that justice prevails and Marley is reunited with his family.
