This dog perceived the threat to his human as real. He did what any dog would do.
Would you decide the same fate for a police dog protecting it's handler? No, no you would not.

This is absurd. Did the family member of the "nipped" child make a complaint? NO! One of our precious dogs nipped our youngest boy on the back of the leg repeatedly after she first arrived, turns out she is descended from herding dogs and was trying to herd and control him to protect him. We corrected her and now she understand that's not part of her job. She never hurt him, and we dealt with the situation as we saw fit. Please allow Marley's family t do the same. Tell the neighbor to worry about her own business and Bay County ACO, please focus on the truly dangerous animals, people who abuse pets!

Allow that puppy to return to her family. Young dogs can often become highly confused and primal instincts take over. The dog has suffered tremendous trauma and deserves a chance at a life under the roof of a caring family. I live in NY and if she were here, I'd take her! Stop the murdering of innocent animals.

The neighbor should of minded their own business, if the owners didn't want to do anything about Marley biting their child then the neighbor should have not, Poor Marley only did what he was trained to do, it wasn't his fault
