That neighbor had no business calling the family knows its dog and boys can play crazy sometimes the poor dog didn't know what was going on. It was not a vicious attack but just a nip. Animal control needs to do their job. They go over board trying to kill a family pet, but get get off their asses to save the dogs tied up in cold and heat day and night!!! Give the dog back.

This dog and child have nothing to do with the nosy neighbor. Shame on all involved for putting this innocent life in jeopardy. I am praying for you Marley! You don't deserve this. Charges should actually be brought against the nosy neighbor and Animal Control (who obviously does not understand dogs or feels they can make money from this) instead.

Please let this furbaby live with his family! He was doing what dogs do, protest their family. If it was a nip, he was warning them!

I find it so sad that common sense for dogs rights is not in the governing dogs lives. If a masked adult sized individual grabbed my child I would expect a reaction from my dog. It is shame that a dog is being punished for one of the behaviors we want from our family members, to protect and love the family. Dogs will willing sacrifice it's life to protect its family please do let this let this story have that ending. If this had been a honest threat from a masked individual he would be a hero. Please use common sense and understanding of the protection the dog sees as his responsibility to his family.
