For those unaware, we have a Change.org campaign to hopefully prompt the County Judge, County Commission and others to do the RIGHT thing and release Marley to his family!!! Thank you ALL for your strength and support. It's been a long and seemingly never ending struggle to get his freedom!

Still no dang order from Judge Welch! So so dang frustrating!!!!! I know not negatively pressuring the Judge is the best thing for Marley, but dang it we need a decision so we know what's next for him and how to proceed. It's been 7 weeks since we went to court and he's been held for 7 months!!There's hundreds of Family pets that are and have been killed by this bully called Bay County Animal Control. We need a precedent that upholds these property rights that affect OUR pets!!!! Thank you ALL for your continued support, prayers and positive karma for Marley. He's a fabulous companion, friend and dog that deserves to be free and with those that LOVE HIM!!!!
Sadly, the judge does not have a time limit on when he has to release his decision, he can take as long as he wants actually. My gut tells me that at this point it's politics. We are essentially asking the judge to rule the county ordinances to be deemed unconstitutional and thus the way Animal Control operates to be outside of their legal authority. Bay County is very much like 90% of towns and communities around the country where politics is very much the "Good ole' Boy" system of doing things. #FREEMARLEY

I had an American Bulldog that did the same to my husband but he was running across the yard after our 16 year old very long story anyway Slim my dog took it as a threat and attacked him only thing is we didnt get a chance to save him as soon as they got him to animal control they put him down without even telling us they were doing so THIS IS NOT RIGHT ANIMALS LOVE THEIR OWNERS AND WILL GO TO ANY LENGHT TO PROTECT THEM FREE MARLEY ITS ONLY RIGHT!
