We believe that Jordan Peters was unfairly lured into a school zone by "friends" for a casual exchange who had become confidential informants for the police. The exchange took place at a convenience store gas pump within 1000 feet of a school in July at night; the school was closed for the summer. The enhanced sentence was 15 years without sentence credits or the possibility of parole. The informants received $100 from the police; Jordan received $80 from the exchange. He is non-violent and loves to work and deserves to be freed from this ridiculous sentence. His mom is disabled and in poor health and needs him at home to help her.

A nonviolent 50$ drug sale, set up by the police is not American. He has served enough time, The prisons are too full of nonviolent, young people who made dumb mistakes.
There is no justification for Jordan Peters to have been give the sentence he was given. It is absolutely absurd.
