**UPDATE: FISCHER HAS BEEN RETURNED TO ME BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP THE PETITION GOING BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY OTHER CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FACING THIS SAME ISSUE. PLEASE CONTINUE TO SIGN AND SHARE**

Friends, neighbors, and concerned citizens,

Many people are suffering during this pandemic: Front line heath care workers, the elderly, people with underlying health issues, just to name a few. However, there is an other group of vulnerable citizens that we have failed to look out for, the children.

Even though it would appear that most children are immune to the virus, there is an other issue they are facing. Far too many custody agreements have been broken since the start of this lock down, meaning children with more than one home have been prohibited from seeing both of their parents and siblings. Sometimes this is done with good intentions, many times it's because one parent or guardian feels they are above the law.

Local law enforcement and Children’s Aid Society are often unable to do anything about parents in violation of their legal binding custody agreements. I have written about this issue to my MPP and as of this writing, have not received a response.

I'm not looking for any additional funding. All I ask is that from now to the end of this pandemic ALL custody agreements are police enforceable unless agreed to otherwise by both parents or guardians. This would ensure that children get to spend time with both parents/guardians and that if one party breaks the agreement, the law will hold them accountable.

Please sign my petition if you agree

Thank you
