Witnesses heard Ophelia call out “No Roberto don’t do it” on top of the police officer lying, trying to convince he never lies because that’s not who he was raised to be. Everyone lies. For him it’s just how many other innocent people has he sent away. How many other informants are there that you all don’t know about.
First and for most when will Evaristo get a fair trial and be released?

I think charges should be brought up on detectives and also the wife of victim based on witness reorts of argument baby c rying and them callong name of guy who Bill icked out that he saw 2 years later thanking for getting him off

Recently saw the "Wrong Man" documentary. Also saw the "Memphis 3" afew years ago and just like the recent one, was enthrawled and watched all 2/3 sections of the show back to back. Just as in the Memphis case, found myself speechless at the actions of all parties involved. Even the parents, particularly with how culpable one step-father had seemed and with the Salas case how humble and genuinely righteous his father seemed. Both in opposite ways, but it just makes you see how their "exposure" or privileges influence them. The step-father seemed like he shouldnt have ever been listened to or taken seriously, while meanwhile Mr.Salas came off as not having enough or ANY exposure or outlet too appeal or counter. As a lower income citizen, find it despicable however, an undeniable fact and an indicating issue in unraveling the lack of justice present in America's Justice system. It is through the defendants undying faith in themselves that they eventually find themselves at these crossroads. But a horible condition of the American Justice system that these scenarios even exist, and the families and individuals themselves are truely victimized by what should be "justice", as it is done under that name. However, no amount of anything on this earth could give those children who have found themselves further victimized their old lives back. Or make them forget the inevitable atrocities they had to endure while in prison. He may be the one behind bars, but the love from their families binds them to live behind bars of their own aswell. FREE THIS MAN! Denying him his freedom, is only further condoning and protecting the courpt investigators/police, courts, and judges that have allowed cases like this to even be heard and waste tax dollars in their courtrooms at all. Stop the cycle!! "Liberty and justice for all"! Not Some!!

How does stuff like this happen? I watched "wrong man" and I'm disgusted this guy is in prison still after all that. I believe that girl ofelia was a sketchy character they just let go. 100%

It is absolutely ridiculous that it is taking so long for Mr. Salas to get an obviously justifiable re-trial. The courts have an opportunity to do what should have been done the first time & yet again a non-white, innocent man cannot receive justice! Everyone in the state of Washington should be remembering this when it's election time..

Free him directly! This shows how far back usa are from us here in Sweden. Here would this never ever happend. DNA is what you need in a court. Here it dosn t matter if i say I DID IT. the court still needs the evidens. God or rasism har Notting to do in the courtroom. Wake up american and realise its 2020 not stone age! /sweden ps the cop guy in this case should have a lifetime in jail. Corupt MO.... FU...R.

My brother went through the same thing. His friend did the shooting but the friend was 16 and my brother was 17. They found the weapon and gun residue on the friend but the friend turned states evidence on my brother. Been locked up since 1994 in Chicago il. Free this young man. This whole case was a mess.
