I watched a tv show in england called Reasonable Doubt and how this ever got to trial I'll never know it's the worst case of wrongful conviction I've ever seen and 2 family's are suffering and the guilty person was back on the streets and probably killed another person release junior sales.

Not enough evidence to show he is guilty he was only a kid

I’ve seen this case and studied it in detail. It stinks. He should never have been prosecuted.

I believe Evaristo is innocent because the detective coerced the informant to lie and say Salas told him he killed Jose. I also believe he is innocent because Ophelia tampered with the evidence. Give Salas a new trial

Seeing the show and not knowing this man, I saw the evidence wasn’t good to incarnate him and feel he should be released!

My father spent 16 years in prison for something he didn’t do. Conviction was quashed at the Old Bailey in London. I have campaigned on Miscarriages of Justice and am convinced of Evaristo’s innocence! Justice for Evaristo and the victim’s family!

I've watched the show Reasonable Doubt in The Netherlands and that's the reason I sign this petition.

Evaristo cant be the killer......How have the ulmighty United State Judicial system fail like this ,,,, who collects evidence after lying followed by cleaning the only evidence and sells it in this case the Car.......... Every sensible person will know that is the killer ,,,, Did they ever investigate the relationship??? I would love you (US Justice System) to free an innocent man because this is not just right ...I follow all Investigation tv shows and i am so shocked because this case is the weakest i have ever seen ...

I just watched the show Wrong Man on Starz...how has this INNOCENT MAN not been given a new trial!? Another case of a cop doing anything to "solve" a case. Let this man go free!!

Shocking that a new trial hasn't even been granted. Such corruption in the US. Its really beyond me

This guy is so obviously innocent, let alone “not guilty” beyond a reasonable doubt. This is the first petition like this I’ve ever signed and am normally skeptical of “I’m innocent” claims but this is SO obvious it’s shocking he was ever convicted and inexcusable that he hasn’t already been granted a new trial.
