I believe that Everisto Junior Salas should get a retrial and it should be requested in a district other than the one where the first trial was done due to possible police and/or political corruption. After watching the documentary I believe and I'm a good judge of character and liars, that the detective was lying. I also believe that the informant that came forward was scared of the detective and possibly retribution for telling the truth. No child had to suffer here if only
everyone would have just told the truth! Dang the kid even had an alibi and it was not his family.

I believe he is innocent. There has been many cases where officers have lied and coerced people into lying to put people away. To win cases or because they don’t want to do their job.
