I think is fair to get another trial .... first one was not a lot of eveidence to convict him .... AND that cop or investigatot lied!!! I always thaught that the police was to serve AND PROTECT but i guess some cops are just corruptors .....

I watched this case on Reasonable Doubt twice & I’m appalled at the injustice in this case. Evaristo Salas didn’t get a fair trial. Exculpatory evidence was withheld from the jury, including the fact that the key witness tampered with the crime scene. Both families in this case deserve justice. He has lost over 20 years of his life while the real killer has been able to live their life as a free person. It’s time to right this wrong & bring Evaristo home to his family.

Justice needs to be made on this case after reviewing the comments and watching a version of the movie he's entitled to be free and the real person that needs to be prosecuted is the detective for negligence and fabrication of stories... That's the one that needs to be in jail along with the person that actually killed this individual starting with the girlfriend and as well as Ricardo and most definitely detective before he dies.

This case and the fact he isn't a free man yet just makes me sick to think about.. Honestly what is wrong with Karma these days? It's almost like Karma got its period and is getting the wrong people back that don't deserve it.... and the people that need Karma to slap them upside the head get skipped. SMDH wish my signature counted for 50k people....now that would rule!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a complete injustice. Ofelia was not investigated properly, especially after LYING AND DESTROYING EVIDENCE, other witnesses saw someone completely different, absolutely no proof DNA or otherwise, and the investigators didn't write down hardly any investigation notes so there's absolutely no proof of following up on any leads. Just solely relying on 1 witness ID after hypnosis! Even the victim's brother believes the case needs reopened! This man deserves to be home with his family and sue TF out of the city/county/state.
