These brothers were victims. The abuse they went through was horrible. They never talked so highly about money or wealth. All they wanted was to be loved. Erik’s sexual abuse was taken way too lightly. If he were a female, these men would not be in jail. 12 years he went through this. 6 years he thought it was normal. He only continued to do what his dad wanted him to do because he wanted time to hangout with his father. That’s all. But he couldn’t get away. Lyle was also so poorly treated. The verbal and physical abuse he went through was terrible. This case is one of the most terrifying and heartbreaking I have ever heard of. They were defending themselves because of the death threats they were given by their parents.

It was clearly self defense because their father sexually abused them and did alot of other horrible stuffs to them.

This is injustice! Why is it that us women have the options to defend ourselves in these cases but not men? True equality, true feminism, is protecting these men TOO! So many similar cases have occurred, and yes mostly to women. We as a society, view women as these weak fragile things, and when terrible things that normally happen to women, happen to men, they are ridiculed and treated unfairly. Like they're supposed to be these strong, empty of emotions robot. It's ridiculous the roles and BS we attach to people based on their reproductive organs.
