Let them be free, they have payed the price. They are victims and they deserve justice in now being able to finally live somewhat of a normal life all these years later. The justice system and many others failed them.

With all that has come out about the pedophiles in Hollywood. These boys acted in self defense, their father was one of them. The mom did nothing to help them. The boys deserve to finally have a life and the opportunity to find love.

Absolutely disgusting that these two have even served time! They should be out and should be compensated for unfair trial and corrupt judge.

These men are victims of a narcessestic father and a very psychological disturb mother. They never should have been in jail but should have been offered help as abused children.

The LA District attorney’s office failed miserably with the OJ Simpson case 2 years prior and wanted to restore credibility with first degree murder convictions. They even sought the death penalty which demonstrated political motivations vs good common sense and true justice. The Menendez Brothers deserved punishment for their horrible decision even though it was driven by years of abuse. A lesser sentence than life without parole would have been appropriate. The LA District Attorney’s office and the State of California can still restore credibility by doing the right thing.

Please release these beautiful loving souls and grant them peace, love & understanding for the rest of their lives. This sentence serves no one any longer.

These guys served time and should be released. They suffered abuse most of their lives; they don't deserve to spend life in prison.

I had obviously heard of the killing of their parents and had wondered if they might have suffered abuse and then after seeing the program Eric Mendez breaking his silence I was disgusted to hear the abuse and torture they were subjected to and how unfair their trial was I thank god for that small mercy of them being spared the death penalty but speaking as a person who was mentally and physically abused by my own father and knowing that it took me forcing a knife into my own fathers throat enough to put him of the idea of continuing his abuse and running for my life at the age of 11 choosing to live on the streets rather than with the monster that was my father I luckily did not do a lot of damage to him although in truth I had wanted to I know firsthand how abuse effects you emotionally and mentally along with physically and I can fully understand why and how they reacted and I think that you have tortured and ridiculed them for far to long if this was a girl being abused by their father you would have no problem in showing compassion towards them yet why is it so difficult to understand when a male receives the same abuse I was 38 years old before I could even talk to another person about what had happened to me because of the shame I felt free them it is a violation of anyone’s rights to be subjected to the travesty they have been subjected to

I'm all for freeing #TheMenedezBrothers! I do not believe that any of us have the right to pass judgment on someone who kills their victimizer. Their plea was imperfect self defense which is a response that should almost be expected of someone suffering from PTSD or CPTSD from a lifetime of abuse but the trial went in favor of societal ignorance and imperfect perspective.

Erik and Lyle deserve to be free because they endured such awful abuse from their parents and they endured such awful injustice during their 2nd trial. I know Erik and Lyle are good people. The crime they committed does not define who they are. They have served enough time. It’s time they live the life they deserve!!!!
