I think george floyd had co morbidies that exacerbated the situation - but i think that george floyd was a threat and derek was just protecting himself and community. He shouldnt have to go to prison or lose his life - its a pooe precedent as it deters other officers from doing their jobs.

Jailing an innocent man is not the way to address police brutality or perceived inequities in enforcement. This was a claccic case of falure to comply.
