Wearing black tights should be optional at any age, you shouldn't be forced and what age or dance level have anything to do with it

Forcing people to wear tights is ridiculous, especially adults who are able to make their own fashion choices.

While waiting for my costume I've been wearing all black including black tights and its extremely uncomfortable,far to warm they constantly slide down and shoes fit so very poorly no matter how thick the tights are!

I have sensitive skin that makes wearing tights medically inadvisable, not to mention uncomfortable. This rule is just nonsense.

No tights please. Thights could be a option, but shouldn't be 'must'. Dancing with tights is very slippy and danger. Also doesn't fit the shoes.

How about focusing on standardizing the judging instead, getting it out of the complete subjectiveness it is in now? Socks v tights is the shallowest rule in this world that needs perfecting in the most important matters!

Imagine the pictures above with black tights... not even half as impressive ! Would be nice to have those pictures photoshopped and compared...

Older dancers already face a lot of discrimination, with no older &over categories, the separate "adult category" with no championship levels, and only trad sets and ceili dances at majors. Now we aren't allowed to wear socks?
