Let him wrestle. He's a kid....This is a sport! It's called competition. What kind of message will the VEWL send by excluding talented kids? So what I am hearing is the VEWL only wants mediocrity? We live in the Lehigh Valley, for God sake, which was at one point named one of the top 10 HOT beds for wrestling in the nation. We have phenomenal youth wrestlers in our area...it's so sad that adults would try to do this to a child because he's talented.

This is absurd!! Bug is not big nor old for his current grade. Whoever has this issue needs to understand that protecting your son from good competition does NOT make him a better wrestler!! Bug is a great kid on and off the mat.. he is a passionate wrestler that I LOVE to watch!!

Wrestling teaches our youth so much and to take this away from a young man , all is the name of wins & losses . The reason he wants to wrestle to HONOR his coach should say enough about this young man .

Dagen (Bug)...... should be allowed ....and deserves to wrestle.....in the VEWL. AND He meets the criteria of the By-Law. Bug is back in the league this year wrestling for the NAA.....and doing so for the RIGHT reasons!!!! LET HIM WRESTLE!!

Let the kid wrestle. Follow your league rules, which by the way are stupid, age and weight matter not years in the league. To those parents that are upset why?? If your kids can't beat this boy have them work to get better don't teach them the easy route earn what you get.
