So many kids are leaving or have left the VEWL because of the lack of competition. Let Bug wrestle. It might encourage other kids to come back. He's eligible and he's doing it for a good cause.

I am a coach in the VEWL and dad directly affected if Bug wrestles. Bug represents the best @ 80lbs. The only way to be the best is to wrestle against the best. Let him wrestle!

You can't let parents make you change rules because there kid is not as good as another one.

He's not older or oversized than the kids he wrestles if all this info is correct. Let him wrestle. Let's do our best to keep every kid on the mat if we can

This is youth wrestling. There aren't scholarships on the line. Let the kid wrestle. Those that are protesting will hopefully look back on this one day, & realize how foolish they were. #freebug

Let him wrestle-- my son learned about age not mattering at an early age from the legend- Cary Kolat. When he was 13 he entered COLLEGE open tournamanet -- and handedly won matches!! When you're a freshman in high school- you'll have guys 3, 4 & even 5 years older than you! Same goes for college only add a few more years in there. Protecting your kid from a child who may be a year or 2 older once your kid is 5th grade or double digits is setting your kid up for future failures and underserved entitlement.

Wrestling is already a dying sport don't let a kids love for a sport get lost because some adult thinks it better for the clue or the wreslter
